Margaret River Aquafarm is an aquaponics greenhouse in Forest Grove. Fish and plants share a recirculating system. I run the farm and built the monitoring for it.
What it watches
Water quality, temperature, pumps, heat and humidity. Arduino nodes, Raspberry Pi collectors, wireless links, and a simple web/phone view. History, dashboards and alerts when a reading is out of range.
Why custom
Commercial farm software did not match this greenhouse. Automation is used where it is safer than relying on memory. Alerts still need a person to act.
